EFCB 370
The former EFCB (Estrada de Ferro Central do Brasil) No. 370 4-6-2 was supplied by Alco in 1922. It was a gift from King Albert I of Belgium who visited Brazil on the occasion of the Brazilian Independence centenary celebrations. It was nicknamed "Zezé Leone" after the first Brazilian "miss" elected in the same year. It is one of the only two surviving 1600 mm broad gauge pacifics in Brasil. The loco was withdrawn in the mid sixties, but reportedly steamed on several occasions for maintenance of way trains until about 1969-70. Surviving as a static monument at the Santos Dumont depot in Mina Gerais she was restored to running order in 2008.
